COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Communications Operator (full-time days)!

In this key role, the Communications Operator is responsible for two facilities:  Community Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.  

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):  Answering incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate departments, assisting with outgoing calls, providing information, paging doctors, following procedures for emergency alerts and activating pagers.

Additional requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one (1) year of hire. 
    • Candidates who do not possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent will be provided the opportunity to enroll in a GED/HSEA program at time of hire as a condition of employment.  A hired candidate will be provided one (1) year from date of hire to successfully complete a GED program and obtain their HSEA.

  • Telephone operator experience helpful but not necessary.
  • Customer service experience preferred. 
  • Command of the English language.



  • Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 8:30AM – 7:00PM.
  • Occasional flexible schedule
  • Holiday rotation
