SummaryEnthusiastic high reliability organization seeking a Transplant Quality Advisor RN Coordinator to manage the quality functions for the Lung and Heart Transplant Programs, including data collection, analytics, adverse events, peer review, and performance improvement projects. Using safety together tools, the Transplant Quality Coordinator manages dashboards to display activities of the quality programs. The Transplant Quality Coordinator facilitates QAPI team meetings, produce minutes and meet hospital wide quality standards for reporting. Using interprofessional skills, the Transplant Quality Coordinator ensures ongoing compliance and survey readiness for CMS, Joint Commission, UNOS and other regulatory bodies, proactively make improvements in patient care and satisfaction, and works with leadership to develop presentations and posters for national transplant conferences. Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure Licensed RN in the State of New Jersey. Minimum 2-3 years hospital nursing experience preferred in an acute care setting. Requires critical thinking skills and ability to demonstrate clinical competency in the critical care setting. Ability to complete concurrent and retrospective chart audits, have detailed assessment skills, provide feedback to committees on outcomes related to clinical outcomes studies. Strong working knowledge of software products including Microsoft office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio. Literature search functions.
